Question

 I have tried to add staff and students but can't find the 'Enrol Members' button on the Gradebook. How do I get one?

 

 

Answer

You need to be given a role with more privileges.

 

Ask a WebCT/Blackboard administrator (Vyt, Lisa, ITS people) to change your role in the unit from 'Teaching Assistant' to 'Section Instructor' - which basically means that you will now be able to add students or staff to your unit.

 

An extra magic button - "Enrol Members" - will now appear at the top of the Gradebook page to enable you to do this. This is described in the 'Adding Staff to a Unit' or 'Adding Students to a Unit' topics in this Folder.
