I have over 800 users in my Gradebook! Is there a quick way I can check which staff instructors are on the list, apart from scrolling through all the names in the gradebook?
Answer
'Quick' is a relative term ... but this is the quickest:

In the TEACH tab; select Gradebook. At the top right is a drop-down menu box called Gradebook Options.

Click on the box and select 'Find Members'

On the screen that opens, select 'User ID' under 'Column'

Select 'contains' under 'Condition'

Type in a . (full stop) under 'Value'

Then click the Run Query button at bottom left.

The resulting window shows you all users with a "." in their username.
This process finds staff members, because at VU, only staff usernames contain a "."
