Question

How do my students submit an assignment?

Answer

The Assignment submission process is fairly self-explanatory.

When students finish each assignment (i.e. they have a completed Word document saved on their computer) they need to:

1) Print it, attach a Cover Sheet (if stipulated) and hand it in if hard copy submission is required, and

2) Click on the 'Assignments' link on the left menu, select the appropriate assignment, and

3) Use the 'Attach' button they will find there to attach their Word document and send the assignment to you. There is also provision there to include a comment if they like.

From your end, while in the 'Teach' tab, click on 'Assignment Dropbox' in the left menu to view all submitted assignments. You then have the option of grading the assignment or sending it back to the student so that they can review and re-submit it.

At any time, you or the student can click on the 'Help' link at the top right of your screen to go to context-sensitive help which is specific to the page you are on, the task you are doing and your status as student, instructor or designer.
